what are the differences between raising a baby boy than a Baby Girl?
I’ve just found out I’m having a baby boy, and I am a little frightened. I’ve been raised with girls only, my cousins are women, and now they all have baby girls, my baby will be the first boy in the family and boys’ world is completely new for me. Thanks foy your answers!
I was in your shoes. I already had my daughter when I found I was having a boy. I have a sister, almost all girl cousins and wasn’t sure how having a boy was going to be. Surprisingly, the beginning stages aren’t much different. The biggest difference is just changing a boy’s diaper. In the beginning you have to try to not get peed on and, if you so choose, you have to make sure the circumcision heals right. It’s easy to wipe him up and clean him and it’s no big deal. My son and daughter take baths together and they play really well together. My son is now 21 months and the biggest difference now is that he throws toys, makes messes, and climbs things like crazy. It’s more difficult to go out to a restaurant because he’s so loud and can’t sit still, unlike my daughter who was a perfect angel. For example, today, he took the Zhu Zhu pet and threw it in the toilet. I was standing 3 feet away from him and couldn’t stop him in time. He’s my crazy little beautiful monster. Boys are different than girls but not all the hard to figure out.
